A stunning image-I love the b/w and the processing you used here-
thank you π
Love this! I’ve always loved old cemeteries.
Thank you. Old cemeteries provide a quiet place to escape π
Very true!
A very nice entry for the challenge Brenda. Well done!
Thank you for visiting and your encouraging responses
I love the metaphor.
Thank you for visiting
we, too, shall leave/escape this world! what a fitting entry to this week’s photo challenge!
It is always great to receive positive feedback. Thank you
The B&W gives a brooding atmosphere to your lovely picture. Love Celtic crosses. Good job!

Janet, thank you for sharing your thoughts. While in Ireland I learned that there was a history of resistance to Celtic crosses … They do represnt an acceptance of cultural and religious differences
That’s interesting. I’ll have to read up on that. But that aside, they’re beautiful. I bought one with silver and Connemara marble (a necklace, of course, not a real cross!). π

Interesting take on this challenge.
Really very beautiful.
thank you π
Coming, going, the waterbirds
don’t leave a trace,
don’t follow a path.

Nothing is hidden;
It has always been clear as day.
For divine wisdom; look at the old pine tree;
For eternal truth; listen to the birds sing.
Seeking the mind; there is no place to look;
Can you see the footprints of flying birds?
Above, not a single tile to shelter under;
Below, not a morsel of ground for support. Zenrin
