black & white sunday: local watering hole

The source of water for the residents of Fort Collins, CO comes from large areas of land that drain snowmelt and rainfall waters to the Upper Cache la Poudre River, Big Thompson River, and Horsetooth Reservoir.

While walking around Horsetooth during this past winter, I was drawn to the composition of these elements of the shoreline… rocks, ice, water, and sky.

    1. thank you Jamie…I prefer the color image as it shows more clearly a blending of abstract (the water’s surface reflecting the sky) with concrete (rocks above and below the water line)…I don’t recall seeing “Rebecca”

      1. It’s a very old movie and a very od book, the later being better than the former. Although, the movie is an Alfred Hitchcock.
