a meditative journey 
Beautiful work Brenda, very poignant with the child looking out. I got a bit lost in our own patch of woods recently (fortunately not for too long) – the absence of human sound other than my own was really startling.
Thank you Leanne. In her footnotes, Ueda wrote that Tagami Kikusha became lost and wandered the mountains all night long during a journey she undertook in 1781. A shared experience…235 years later…interesting how words written so long ago reach out and describe another’s experience. I do hope you returned home physically okay and found emotional ease with loved ones.
