      1. I just looked it up, I’ve not done much exploring there. I spend a lot of time in the Lassen area though, so much beauty there and there is a whim of magic too! Any special spots I should check out? My family loves to explore and adventure to new places.

      2. I was being curious about how close Humbolt County is to Plumas…was born in Portola and the family moved from there when I was three. I’ve never met anyone from this area.

      3. Humboldt County is a good 3 1/2 hr drive to Redding. It is right on the coast practically straight west. My husband studies volcanoes so we frequent Mt. Shasta and Lassen N.P. regularly in the summers. I totally understand, finding others with similar roots feels good!
