At first glance, yes. But what is not seen is a very small puppy he is petting. A really cute little thing he was.
Well at least its moments like that make light of a very grim world
Really awesome, Brenda. You could write a whole story on this. š š Blessings!
I agree. This image also invites me to be open to my initial story/understanding/perception and then to the stories that arise as I move closer to what is and away from what I thought was. Does this make sense? Hope your Sunday is blessed with peace. šš»
YES! Definitely. Funny I’m aware tonight of my assumptions/perceptions and how challenging it can be to see things differently (this is in relation to my partner š ). Much easier to observe with a photograph, and thank you for that. Makes all of it seem simpler! Hope that makes sense. Blessings of peace, Brenda š
Yes. Iām wondering if relationship emotions color our assumptions/perspectives more so than the feelings an image may evoke. Interesting how this image invites contemplation. May you have a wonderful week.
Your photos always tell stories Brenda. This one certainly does.
Thanks Amy…the hidden puppy, I keep remember him as he was so small and lovable. I do hope he has a life filled with love and doggie treats.
A lovely yet bittersweet image. The wall of fencing, the pathos of the pose, and the starkness of the black and white seem to imply a surrender to an insurmountable obstruction. well done.
Such a sad photo
