where I’ve given up
all hopes of visitors,
how drab life would be
without my loneliness.

nice
Thank you 🙏🏻
I love the concept of life being drab without one’s own loneliness. I spend a lot of time alone too and often feel that way,
And…do I dare say, sometimes loneliness is preferred.
mmm – I know what you mean. 🙂 I’ve been thinking a lot about the difference between loneliness and being alone. Being alone has some very positive attributes.
I once read that “alone” is the shorten version of “all one”
Ooh, I like that. 🙂
