Beautiful. Inspired by Bruce Percy? The delicacy of the muted colors is wonderful to explore, and the asymmetrical composition adds a zen aspect.
Thank you, Michael. Bruce Percy, for me, sets a high standard of simplicity and tone that I find myself guided by as I edit landscape images. I don’t want to copy his work like many do with Michael Kenna’s amazing images. Though I would like to be as mindful and patient as Kenna when I have my camera in hand.
I will have to look up Michael Kenna. But believe me when I tell you, I see the Bruce Percy inspiration, but this image is your own.
Michael Kenna. OK… I see. Here is an artist whose singularity of vision is wide enough to encompass many subjects and still maintain its singularity of vision.
