I feel myself rising to the top of the trees and beyond. The video is amazing. I love the music and would not think it possible for string instruments, or any instruments for that matter to survive being in the rain like that!
I once watched a musical in which it looked as though rain was falling on the stage…actually I am sure it was rain. Yet, a part of me questions the logistics of water on the stage…safety, water damage, electricity…it is a puzzle. So if I pull myself out of the immersion of this video—the sound of the music, the joy that arises when I see the tiny cyclist, the nonverbal communications, the beauty of the colors, and the memories associated with rain, I ask could the rain be creatively staged as the cyclist?
