Sending on ahead
My contemplated image of the form
Of remembered cherry flowers,
How many ranges have I vainly crossed
Taking for blossoms white clouds upon the peaks? ~Shunzei, Chūshū Eisô*

That is such a lovely photo. Personally, though, I haven’t seen snow (in person) since 1984. Since then, I’ve lived in Florida, After 9 years I moved to San Diego where I have remained.
Believe it or not, I’m also looking forward to spring, even here where the weather is very temperate.
I have great memories of San Diego and a memory of a very brief snow fall in Jacksonville
I remember about 20 years ago we had softball like hail. It was a curious thing.
