I am like dew on the grass–
And pitiable wherever I may be–
But especially am I oppressed with sadness
In a field with a thin growth of reeds.

Dew….like autumns colour, morning dew has been noticeable for its absence this year 🙂
the absence of morning dew…is this an aspect of a drought? I can still recall the scent and texture of dew in San Diego…fills me with longing to return to California.
Probably is….we had a morning dew one earlier this week but not enough to hang onto the spiders webs and dying flower heads. Apart from being dry it has been unseasonably warm this October….even yesterday we reached 18c (historical average 9c). All very odd and yep, we should really be worried 🙂
