these hot summer days
continue…but how far away
those days called Long Ago
not shrinking back

If I was on holiday…it would be a walking tour of Japan and one of the places on my list to visit is the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove in Kyoto. But, alas, I’m not on holiday…but one of the bike/walking pathways near my home offered a (somewhat) miniature bamboo grove….sorta weird, but beautiful.

Every single dawn;
I gaze out, yet
Still in the depths of night
I dream…a grief, indeed.

Will always find;
Accustomed to the blossoms
On this evening they are gone…

Would I take my ease…

Since then in the garden
Every single trace has gone.
